I am currently a postgraduate student of International Studies at Leiden University and a recent graduate of Leiden Law School, gaining my masters degree in European Law, with a significant focus on the work of international organisations and security issues. I am also secretary & co-founder of PAX Initiative, a youth-based organisation looking to introduce more young voices into discussions surrounding peace and justice. Through my student fellowship at the CFI, I am currently working on compiling a repository of data sources and initiatives aimed at preventing conflict and extremist violence and building positive peace, in partial collaboration with UNDP South-East Asia. My motivations for undertaking this fellowship was to allow me to contribute to a meaningful and pertinent project within a supportive environment, as well as to expose me to the risks and potentials of using politically sensitive data sets in a developmental context. I am currently looking for employment in an international organisation or think/do-tank seeking to promote data-driven, evidence-based policy and analysis in an international setting.
