Qualtrics allows users to collect online data through surveys. This R package contains convenience functions to pull survey results straight into R using the Qualtrics API. See the documentation for more information about the Qualtrics API.
At the Online Learning Lab (OLL), we use Qualtrics surveys to conduct pre and post-course surveys. This feedback helps us to improve our Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). We currently run 13 courses on the Coursera platform, and required a simple solution to easily load Qualtrics survey data for analyses and to regularly update data. Therefore, we decided to publish a package for the R statistical language that hooks into the Qualtrics API and retrieves a list of active surveys and survey results with a simple command.
The package will be maintained and expanded by the Centre for Innovation. The development version can be found on GitHub. The stable release version can be found on CRAN. Installation instructions, examples and other information can be found here.
