13.15: Interactive technology in the classroom-workshop
by Moniek Akerboom, teacher and tutor Institute Security and Global Affairs, with an introduction by Kate Kirk, Tutor Coordinator/Assistant Professor
Moniek Akerboom will explain and demonstrate different types of interactive technologies, such as Factile, Kahoot and Presenter’s Wall, which you can use in the classroom. We will discuss their strengths and weaknesses and how to design your own lessons around them.
You will also learn about apps and programs, which students can use to study more effectively. During the workshop you will have the chance to try several applications yourself.

15.30: The potential of using Mixed Reality for the classroom
by Thomas Ginn (360 VR), Sebas Munoz (TV) en Jelger Kroese (AR) from the Digital Learning Lab. They will explain the potential of using virtual reality and augmented reality technology in the classroom and reflect on the design of the classroom of the future.
16.00: The experience room - Experience two ways of teaching with technology
During this session, you will be able to experience teaching in front of a a camera in the flexible studio set up at Wijnhaven. You'll also get the chance of immersing yourself in a 360 Virtual Reality experience.
